  • Although designed to minimize errors, accidental triggering may still occur in certain situations:

    • For 120dB alarms:

      • Pin-pull alarm: If the pin is unintentionally removed or not properly secured, the alarm may go off. Simply reinserting the pin will stop the sound.

      • Button-activated alarm: Accidental pressure on the button may activate the alarm. Releasing the button should stop it.

    • For 4G mobile solutions:

      • An unintentional long press on the SOS button may trigger an alert. Usually, a second press on the SOS button will stop it (unless the device is configured to disable this feature).

      • If fall detection is enabled, a sudden movement or drop of the device may trigger an alert. In that case, pressing the SOS button again will generally cancel the alert.

  • No, these devices are designed to work independently.

    • 120 dB alarm:
      Operates without needing to be connected to a phone. A simple button press or pin removal triggers a powerful sound alert — perfect for drawing attention in an unusual situation.

    • 4G mobile solution:
      These devices use a Nano SIM card (not included), linked to a phone plan of your choice from your provider (subscription not included). Once configured, they work autonomously (as long as network coverage is available) and allow you to:

      • Send an SOS text with your geolocation directly to your pre-registered contacts.

      • Handle incoming and outgoing calls through the built-in speaker and microphone for voice communication.

    This independence makes them convenient and adaptable to your needs — no phone required nearby.
